Mission and Vision: The Faculty of Midwifery is dedicated to preparing future midwives with the knowledge, skills, and compassion required to provide exceptional care to women and newborns. Our vision is to be a leader in midwifery education and practice, advancing maternal and neonatal health through innovative teaching, research, and community service.
- Curriculum: Includes foundational courses in anatomy, physiology, and midwifery practice, as well as specialized training in prenatal, labor, delivery, and postnatal care.

Prospective students must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of Secondary School: You must have finished secondary school with at least a 50% overall average.
- Certificates: Submit both the original and a copy of your secondary school certificate.
- Photographs: Provide six (6) passport-sized photos with a white background.
- Admission Test/Interview: Pass the required admission interview and/or test.
- Registration Fee: Pay a registration fee of $35
The duration of the course is Five Years.
The academic year at AMU spans 16 weeks, divided into two semesters. (14 weeks for tuition and two weeks for examinations). The first semester starts in September.
