Welcome to the Faculty of Pharmacy
The Faculty of Pharmacy at Al Hayat Medical University offers a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree. This program typically covers a comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare students for various roles in the pharmaceutical field.
The aim of the program is to prepare and graduate professional pharmacists who are drug therapy experts. Starting with a solid foundational knowledge base in biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences in the initial phase, students quickly and smoothly move into the pharmacy practice and clinical pharmacy phase of the program. Professional skills labs offer an opportunity for clinical simulations and role play preparing our students for early exposure into the “real practice” environment.
The Pharmacy program offers AMU students both introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences in AMU affiliated hospitals, clinics and community pharmacies.

To graduate practice-ready pharmacists who will advance the profession.

Requirements For Enrollment
Prospective students must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of Secondary School: You must have finished secondary school with at least a 50% overall average.
- Certificates: Submit both the original and a copy of your secondary school certificate.
- Photographs: Provide six (6) passport-sized photos with a white background.
- Admission Test/Interview: Pass the required admission interview and/or test.
- Registration Fee: Pay a registration fee of $35

The duration of the course is Five Years.

Semester Intake
The academic year at AMU spans 16 weeks, divided into two semesters. (14 weeks for tuition and two weeks for examinations).
The first semester starts in September.
